Charles "Charlie" Lee Waller Sr, 68, of Boonville, passed away at his home on Saturday morning, Nov. 10th, 2012 in the presence of his loving family.

Visitation for Charlie will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday evening, Nov. 12th, 2012, at Davis Funeral Chapel in Boonville, ending with a prayer service at 7:45. There will be a rosary said at 5:30 p.m., before visitation. Friends may call from noon until time of the visitation. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church on Tuesday, Nov. 13th at 10:00 a.m. with Father Bob Duesdieker officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pilot Grove.

Charles "Charlie" Lee Waller Sr was born in Pilot Grove, MO, Aug. 16th, 1944, the son of John Earl Waller Sr and Annie Naomi Gramlich Waller. Charlie married Kathy Luttrell Sept. 12th, 1964 in Pilot Grove and they are the parents of three children. Charlie worked for Guy's Potato Chip Co. for thirty seven years until his retirement. He was a sports fan, especially when it came to his children's and grandchildren's sporting events. He touched the lives of many youth in the area over many years as a coach of both Junior and Senior Babe Ruth baseball. He was very active with the Boonville Athletic Booster Club and spent many hours at the bingo games and other projects. He had a lot of stories to tell at the coffee shop about his love of hunting, fishing and his grandchildren.

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother, John Earl Waller Jr. He is survived by his wife, Kathy, of the home; his children, Renee (Clete) Baxter of Columbia, Charlie (Denise) Waller Jr of Boonsboro, and Troy Waller of Boonville. An empty spot will be left in the hearts of his grandchildren, Kelby Waller, Harley Waller, Alison Baxter and Chase Baxter. He is also survived by 5 sisters, Helen Westmoreland of Odessa, Ruth Hayden of Centralia, Dorothy Simpson of Ashland, Mary Gerling of Boonville and Carol Brown of Columbia.
