Cindy Kaye Hurt, 53, of Bunceton, surrounded by her loving family, passed peacefully from this world on Tuesday, April 28, 2015.

Visitation for Cindy will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel on Friday evening, May 1, from 6-8p.m. Funeral services will be at Riverside Christian Church in Boonville at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 2nd, with burial following in the Pisgah Cemetery.
Cindy Kaye Hurt was born in Boonville, MO, Dec.15, 1961, the daughter of William Maurice and Helen Josephine Smith Hurt. She graduated from Bunceton High School and had lived in the Boonslick area her entire life. She had worked at Nordyne for several years until health issues forced her retirement. Cindy was an avid NASCAR fan, plus she enjoyed fishing and regular bingo games. Family was important to her; however her grandchildren were the light of her life, as was her dog 'Brody'.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Shaun Christopher Hurt, her sister, Karen Lynn Hurt and sister-in-law, Wanda Hurt. She leaves behind to mourn her passing, her daughter, Angie (Ryan) Ball, of Boonville, and grandchildren, Reece and Radley Ball. Her siblings; brothers, Ronnie (Jean) Hurt of Bunceton, Darrell Hurt and Billy (Karen) Hurt of Boonville and sisters, Murl (Dennis) Jones, of Bunceton and Debbie (Dean) Buck of New Franklin also survive.
Memorials are suggested to the charity of the family's choice.
