Cliffa Mae Hill, 59, of Boonville, passed away at her home on Sunday, Feb. 20.

There will be a memorial service the New Franklin Foursquare Church 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, with Rev. Dale Hopkins officiating. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the church.
Cliffa Mae Hill was born in Moberly, Mo., Sept. 16, 1951, the daughter of Clifford Lorton and Stella Wilburn Lorton. She married Cecil Hill in 1975 and they lived most of their life in the Blackwater and Boonville area. He preceded her in death in April of 2010. Cliffa Mae was a homemaker who enjoyed her family and friends and she was well known, by her family, as a person who loved to cook.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death her parents and a brother, Ernest 'Sputnik' Lorton. She is survived by her sons; Michael Lorton of Florida and Asa Hill of Boonville and daughters; Connie Price of Blackwater, Jennifer Wyatt of Holts Summit, Mo., and Becky Robinson of Blackwater. A brother, Ernest Lorton of Washington, Mo., and her sister, Vonna Crawford of Clark, MO also survive, as well as eight grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the family in care of Davis Funeral Chapel.
