Cynthia Ruth Montgomery, 55, of Fayette, passed away at University Medical Center on Monday, Nov. 22. Cynthia was known to be a giving person and she generously has given the gift of life to many as an organ donor.
Visitation for Cynthia will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel in Boonville from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 28.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at Open Bible Praise Center in Boonville on Monday, Nov. 29, with Pastor Randy Richards officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Boonville.
Cynthia Ruth Montgomery was born in Boonville, Mo., April 12, 1955, the daughter of Homer Dilse and Dorothy Taylor Dilse.
She married Michael Montgomery June 4, 1988, in Fayette.
She held positions as an administrative assistant for several businesses in the area, including Shelter Insurance and Central Methodist University. Gardening, fishing, sewing and bowling occupied most of her leisure time; however her only grandchild was her most enjoyable pastime.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her father and by an infant sister, Barbie Dilse and by her mother in law, Lorann Montgomery. She is survived by her husband, Michael of the home, her mother, Dorothy, of Boonville, by her son Clint Iadanza and his wife Brianne of St. Louis, her daughter, Laura and husband Chris Eidson of Columbia and by her granddaughter, Isabella Eidson. Her brothers, Jim and Mike Dilse of Boonville and sisters, Janet Wyrick of Columbia, Janice Hanlon and Wanda Fisher, of Boonville, also survive. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and friends and by her father in law, Robert Montgomery, of Fayette.
