Darlene Griffin Salmon, 62, of Fayette, passed away, unexpectedly at her parent's home in Fayette, Mo., on Wednesday morning, May 18.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 20, at Davis Funeral Chapel in Boonville. The family will receive friends from 1 o'clock until 2 o'clock.
Mary Darlene Salmon was born Aug. 11, 1948, at St. Joseph Hospital in Boonville, Mo., the daughter of William H Griffin and Emma Jane 'Hundley' Griffin. She had worked the past 10 years or so at Miller's Photography in Columbia.
Darlene was preceded in death by her grandparents, her son, James David Martin, in March of 2010, her brother, Harry Wayne Griffin, a sister, Linda Griffin, her brother in law, Howard Brewster and a niece, Kahree Griffin. She is survived by her parents, her son, Kurt Martin, of Fayette, by her sisters; Carol Brewster of Warsaw, Mo., Debbie Lessley and her husband, Mike, of Boonville, Sylvia Chew and her husband, Mike, of Fayette and Pat Morrison and husband F.L., of Centerview, Mo., and her brother, John Griffin, of Fayette, as well as many nieces and nephews and friends. Her grandchildren, Arianna, Chance and Paige Martin also survive.
Memorials are suggested to the family for the charity of their choice.
