Dawn Renee' Harris Sprick, 34 of New Franklin passed away Saturday evening October 30 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia after a courageous fight with cancer.

Visitation for Dawn will be 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, November 3 at S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Boonville. Funeral Services will be 11a.m. Thursday, November 4 at S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Elder Jeff Cochran officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Dawn Renee' Sprick was born November 11, 1975 in Columbia, Mo the daughter of Gary Harris and Janet Jobe Harris. She graduated Boonville High School in 1994 and went onto the University of Missouri where she graduated in 1999 with a degree in Environmental Design (Architectural). She married Ron Jason Sprick June 12, 1999 at the First Methodist Church in Columbia. Dawn worked at Fuqua Homes in Boonville as an Assistant Engineer up until her illness. She was very creative and loved to design different things. Proof of her designing is the house that Jason and the girls live in. She loved to read a good book or just sit around enjoying her friends. She loved music as she played the piano and was a drum major in high school. She loved to hunt and fish with her husband Jason. Her love for her family was most important as she loved spending time with her children.
Dawn was preceded in death by her brother Clay Harris on July 12, 1990, paternal grandfather Forrest Harris, maternal grandparents Cort and Eva Jobe. She is survived by her husband Jason of the home, her daughters; Alexia and Kaylen Sprick of the home. Her parents, Gary and Janet Harris of Boonville, a sister, LeAna Winslow and husband Michael of Brock, TX, Also surviving is her mother and father in-law-, Edward Sprick, Sr. and wife Cathy of New Franklin and grandmother, Ethel Harris of Prairie Home. She will be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
