Duane R. Larm, 60, of Pilot Grove, passed away Friday, July 5, 2013 at his home after a battle with cancer.
He was born June 15, 1953, in Pilot Grove, MO to Elizabeth Mary (Day) and William J. Larm.  On
December 1, 1979, in Clear Creek, MO he married Glenda Kirschman, who survives of the home.  Mr. Larm was self-employed as a farm owner/operator in Pilot Grove for over 42 years, and was also employed as a rural mail carrier for the United States Post Office.  He graduated from Pilot Grove High School and lived his whole life in the Pilot Grove community.  He was a member of the St. John Catholic Church in Clear Creek and the Clear Creek Knights of Columbus and the Missouri Cattleman's Association.
Mr. Larm is survived by his wife of the home; one son – Todd Larm and one daughter-Jayna Larm, both of the home; one brother-Edward (Sandy) Larm of Boonville; two sisters-Martha Vollrath of Sedalia and Patricia (Bill) Thomas of Franklin.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother-Darrell Larm.
Funeral Services for Duane Larm were held Monday, July 8, 2013, at St. John Catholic Church in Clear Creek, with burial in the St. John Cemetery.
Visitation was Sunday, July 7, with a prayer service at 5:00 PM, and visitation immediately following until 7:00 PM at the Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Pilot Grove.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to St. John Church or cemetery.
