Earl Francis Gross, 83 of Kansas City, Mo passed away on Oct. 15th, 2011 at Benchmark Nursing Home in Raytown, Mo. with family and Catholic Community Hospice present. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday Oct. 21, 2011 at 11am at St. Regis Catholic Church. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6-8pm with a Rosary being said at 7:30pm at the Langsford Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Catholic Community Hospice or Parkinson Foundation of the Heartland. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Kansas City, Mo.

Earl was born on July 11, 1928 in Cooper Co., Mo. He was a US Marine and Veteran of the Korean War. He was a part of the family home building business L.J. Gross & Sons Construction Co. and then retired from the Carpenters Union Local of Kansas City, Mo. He was considered one of the best trim men in the business. One of his favorite hobbies was fishing and he always caught his limit.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Harold, Ralph, Vincent, and Marvin Gross, sisters Rosemary Pike and Celene Meyers. Survivors include brother Hubert Gross and 2 Sisters-in-Law Vera Gross and Mary Frances Gross, 15 Nieces and Nephews, and numerous Great, and Great Great nieces and nephews.
