Helen F. Humfeld, 78, of Boonville passed away Friday afternoon June 10 at Cooper County Memorial Hospital in Boonville.

Graveside services for Helen will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 14, at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Boonville with Rev. Scott Paris officiating.
Helen F. Humfeld was born Oct. 21, 1932, in Boonville, Mo., the daughter of Harry C. Edwards and Mildred F. Hilden Edwards. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Boonville. In her spare time Helen loved to read. The most important thing was her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughter Barbara Chipley and husband Dan of New Franklin, a son, Bill Humfeld and wife Marcella of Boonville. A sister Mary Wiemholt of Boonville and brother Harry "Bud" Edwards Jr. of North Kansas City also survive. She leaves behind six grandchildren; Tabitha Greis and husband Clark, Angela Smith and husband Terry, Nathan Chipley, William, Abby and Cathryn Humfeld. Also two great-grandchildren survive, Mackenzie and Gabe Greis and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Boonville or the American Lung Association.
