Isabel A. Lang, 90
Isabel A. Lang, 90, of Boonville, died Saturday, December 27, 2014, at her home. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 2, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Boonville with the Rev. Edward Doyle officiating. Davis Funeral Chapel Inc. will handle the funeral arrangements. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at the SS Peter and Paul Church immediately preceding the funeral mass. Burial will be in St. Martin's Cemetery.
Isabel Agnes Schuster was born August 10, 1924, in Pilot Grove, Missouri, the daughter of Frank and Effie Hamilton Martin Schuster. She married Leonard A. Lang on September 14, 1943, at St. Martin's Church. Mrs. Lang was a lifelong farmer's daughter and farmer's wife who devoted herself to and delighted in raising her children, working alongside her husband, gardening and raising chickens.
Surviving are two daughters, Marilyn Gordon of Columbia, Missouri, and Evelyn Korschgen of Fleming Island, Florida; three sons, Leonard F. Lang of St. Louis, Missouri, Melvin L. Lang of Ballwin, Missouri, and David A. Lang of Boonville, Missouri; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard, her parents, and her six brothers and seven sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to SS Peter and Paul Church or St. Martin's Cemetery Association.
