Joe Bill Mustion, 90, formerly of Boonville, passed away at The Fountains of Green Briar retirement center in Independence, MO on Sunday, Mar. 10 2013.

Funeral services for Joe will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel in Boonville at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, Mar. 16th, 2013 with visitation one hour prior to the service at 1:00 o'clock. Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery on Monday, March 18th at 11:00 A.M. in Liberty, MO with military honors.
Joe Bill Mustion was born Apr. 15, 1922, the son of Carrick A. Mustion and Evelyn Ramona Good Mustion. He married Leona Adda Hardwicke Sept 17, 1941 in Liberty, MO. Joe was well known in the community through his love of music, especially at Kemper Military School. Joe retired from the U.S. Air Force with the rank of Major. He was a family man who was very dedicated and worked very hard on their behalf. Joe had spent several years as a math teacher with the Boonville School District. He most recently retired form the Department of Corrections at the age of 82.
Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Leona, in 2010 and his son, Tim, in 2007 as well as brother, Albert Mustion. He is survived by his children; Ramona Ning, of Kansas City, MO, Nancy Jo Partin (Gary) of Independence, MO, Judith Ann Sims of Brooklyn Park, MN and Jim Mustion. His sister, Pauly Ann Martin of Mission, KS, brother, Paul J. Mustion, Carrick S. Mustion and his sister-in-law, Mary A. Mustion, as well as nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild also survive.
