Judith L. 'Judy' Brown, 55, of Boonville, passed away very unexpectedly at her home on Friday, Aug. 30, 2013.
Funeral services for Judy will be held at Open Bible Praise Center on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Randy Richards and Rev. Dean Myers officiating. Visitation for Judy will be held one hour prior to the service at 9:00 o'clock. Burial will follow at the Odessa Cemetery.
Judith L. Brown was born in Odessa, MO, Jan. 1, 1958, the daughter of James W. Brown Jr. and Carrie Mary Wulfekotter Brown. Judy had worked at the 87 Diner for many years where she was loved by staff and customers alike. She was a very loving person who had a zest for life and enjoyed working and helping others. She was a member of People First with Unlimited Opportunities. She was a member of the Open Bible Praise Center where she held a special place in the hearts of all who knew her. 
Judy was blessed by the fact that she was a member of two families who loved her equally. She is survived by her mother, Carrie Mary Brown of Odessa; her sisters, Jamie Carol 'Brown' Adams and Audra Ann Brown of Odessa and her nieces, Teisha Bennett and Stephanie Thompson and  her second family; Michael and Dorotha Tonnar of Blackwater who had cared for her for many years and her brothers and sisters; Dean and Terri Myers, Bill and Teresa Tonnar, Danny and Melissa Arnold, Matthew and Tabitha Brown, Richard and Melinda Hazel, Matthew and Janet Tonnar, Travis Garrett as well as seventeen grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her father in 1990, and by an infant daughter, Terra Lynn Dilley.
