Kathleen J. Holliday McClelland, 75, of Prairie Home, MO left this world and entered into heaven on Wednesday, April 29, 2015.
Visitation for Kathleen will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 followed by the funeral service, at noon, at the Bunceton Federated Church with Rev. Brad Fuemmeler officiating. Burial will follow in the Bunceton Masonic Cemetey. Arrangements under the direction of Davis Funeral Chapel.
Kathleen Joyce Holliday McClelland was born in Bunceton, MO, Oct. 3, 1939 the daughter of Glenn Holliday and Dorothy Alexander Holliday. She graduated from Bunceton High School in 1957. Kathleen loved life and family. She had a strong faith in Christ and had a kind and loving spirit. She loved music and could play any song request on the piano by ear. Her favorite musical artist was Elvis Presley, whom she met when he was first starting out. Her favorite trip was to Graceland. She loved spending time with her brothers, sisters, children and grandchildren. She liked to be called G-G by her grandchildren. She had a wonderful sense of humor and made us laugh often.
Kathleen was preceded in death by husbands, Robert Salzman and Jim McClelland and by a brother-in-law, Leonard Bestgen. She is survived by her children; son, Jeff Salzman, of Prairie Home, daughters, Lisa (Dan) Oswald of Columbia, Jill (Monty) Perrigo of Costa Mesa, CA, and Toni (Kevin) Brown of Harrisburg. Her brother Jimmy (Mary) Holliday of Sedalia, and sisters, Glenda (Jack) Veulemans, of Sedalia, Betty Bestgen, of Scottsdale, AZ, Gail (Cal) Ekstrom of Sedalia, and Pat (Gary) Perkins of Moberly, also survive. She will also be missed by her loving grandchildren; Daniel Oswald, Stephanie (Mike) Parsons of Hallsville, Samantha (Aaron) Wooldridge, of Columbia, Mallorie (Justin) Dirks, of Columbia, Timothy (Danielle) Perrigo of Hallsville, Chad (Alexa) Perrigo and Lydia Perrigo of State of California, Shelby Salzman, of Prairie Home and Krista, Kyle and Trevor Brown, of Harrisburg, as well as 11 great-grandchildren.
