Katie Lee Kable, 92, of Pilot Grove, passed away May 20, 2010 at Katy Manor Nursing Home in Pilot Grove, MO.

Ms. Kable was born on September 4, 1917 to Lee Roy and Mary Jane Eckerle Wolfe in New Lebanon, MO. She was married on May 6, 1938 to Oliver Maurice Kable, who preceded her in death in 1987. She graduated from Blackwater High School and worked in a Defense Plant during WWII. She also worked for the Sunshine Biscuit Company in Kansas City as a secretary. She was a member of the Pilot Grove Community Church, Pilot Grove American Legion Auxiliary and the Eastern Star.
She is survived by one brother-A.J. Wolfe and wife, Bette of Pilot Grove. She was preceded in death by her husband and one son-William Lee Roy Kable, three sisters-Clara Belle Schlotzhauer, Agnes Kella, and Alma Lymer.
Funeral services for Ms. Kable will be at 10:30 AM Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Pilot Grove with Reverend Don Bell officiating. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery in Mexico, MO.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of the service on Saturday, May 22, 2010.
