Kevin Ripperger, 73, of Boonville, passed away at University Hospital in Columbia on Monday, August 4th, 2014.

Services for Kevin will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel at 2:00 o'clock on Saturday, Aug. 9th with visitation two hours prior to the service from noon until time of service. Inurnment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Kevin Douglas Ripperger was born July 18, 1941, the son of Albert Philip Ripperger and Bertha Bowers Ripperger. Kevin graduated from BHS in 1959. He married Julianne Overshiner Oct. 2, 1964 and they are the parents of three children. Kevin enjoyed pheasant hunting with annual trips to Iowa with several of his friends. Car racing was a passion of his and he had collected metal signs of all sorts for many years. He was one of Boonville's biggest Pirate Boosters and was proud to have been on the football teams chain gang for forty five years. Kevin had worked for the bakery in Boonville for many years and Nordyne until his retirement.
Kevin is survived by his wife and best friend, Judy, of the home, his children; Stephen and his wife, Alisha of Harrisonville, MO , David, of the home and Philip 'Ryan" and wife Julie of Harrisonville. His brothers, Robert Ripperger of Grandview, James Ripperger and Melvin Ripperger both of Boonville and sisters, Cleta Silvey of Euless, TX and Sylvia Ripperger of Houston, TX. Kevin will also be missed by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
