LaDoris "Dodie" Manley, of New Franklin, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on March 22, 2012. She was 66 years old.

She was born November 17, 1945 in Madison County, Illinois to Edward and Rhoda Stewart Huff. Dodie married Douglas Manley on September 9, 1967 in State Park, Illinois and he survives at their home.
Mrs. Manley had previously been employed with Nordyne in Boonville and Hitt Street Market in Columbia. Her family remembers her as a friend to all she met and never knew a stranger. She loved her family and traveling.
Survivors include two daughters, Dawn Livingston and husband, Teddy of Canton, Missouri and Doreen Campbell and husband, Maurice "J.R."; a brother, Elmer Huff and wife, Maxine of Traverse, Florida and a sister, Frances Cory and husband, Carl of Collinsville, Illinois. She is also lovingly remembered by four grandchildren, Alyssa Livingston, M.C., Dakota and Kristen Campbell and a great grandchild, Reese Campbell.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Neal Huff.
Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Markland-Yager Funeral Home in New Franklin. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.
