Larry D. Meyer, 67, of Bunceton, MO, passed away at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia on Sept. 1, 2011.
There will be a memorial service for Larry, at Davis Funeral Chapel at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, Sept 4, 2011, with Brother, Rodney Haggett officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service, from one o'clock until time of service. Burial of the cremated remains will follow at Bunceton Masonic Cemetery with full military honors.
Larry Duane Meyer was born in Boonville, MO, June 19, 1944, the son of Bernace Woodrow Meyer and Ruby Mixer. He had retired from a career with General Motors in 1997. Larry married Bonnie Lindquist Watring December 30, 1991 in Boonville and they made their home in Bunceton. He was a knowledgeable fan of N A S C A R and he enjoyed playing just about any card game with friends, neighbors and family. Larry had a close relationship with his grandchildren, whom he loved very much.
Mr. Meyer is survived by his wife, Bonnie, of the home; two sons, Darren Meyer of Blue Springs, MO, Mark Meyer of Los Angeles, CA and three daughters, Virginia Townlain and Karla Boehm, both of Boonville and Kimberly Malone of Crandall, GA. His brother, Gary Meyer of Warsaw, MO, as well as eight grandchildren, also survive.
Memorials are suggested to the Bunceton Masonic Cemetery or that of the donor's choice.
