Lauren S. Ellison, 66, of Boonville, passed away at University Hospital on Saturday evening, April 11, 2015.

Memorial services for Lauren will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Boonville at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 17, 2015, with Pastor Brian Thieme officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 10 o'clock. Inturnment in the Boonsboro Cemetery will take place at a later date.
Lauren S. Ellison was born April 5, 1949, the daughter of Lawrence Lynn and Thelma Elizabeth Kivett Lynn. She marred Dennis Ray Ellison in Speed, MO, Oct. 11, 1969 and he preceded her in death in December of 1975. Lauren had worked in the Boonslick area, mostly as a cook at local restaurants. She had a close relationship with her God, was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, enjoyed reading the Bible and worked hard to follow its Word.
Her grandbabies and great-grandbabies were the light of her life with whom she shared her unconditional love equally.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by a brother, David Swearengen. She is survived by her daughter, Gina (Tom) Loesing of Boonville, grandchildren; Amber (Steven) Lammers, Mitchell Hubbard, Hannah, Tara, and Zachary Loesing, all of Boonville and Teri Loesing of Columbia, as well as six great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her brothers, Warren Swearingen of Warsaw, Mo. and James Swearingen of California, Mo. and her sisters, Rita George of Fayette and Beverly June Hippkins, of Shelbina.
