Letitia Ann Johnson, 65, of Boonville, passed away peacefully at the K C Hospice House in Kansas City on April 9, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.

Visitation for Letitia will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel on Wednesday evening, April 13th, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 14 with Pastor Scott Paris officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, New Franklin.
Letitia Ann Johnson was born March 25, 1951, in Marshall, Mo. the daughter of James F. Shields and Mary Beaman Shields. She graduated from Boonville High School in 1969 and married her high school sweetheart, James Johnson Jr. the same year. Letitia had worked for Toastmaster for 38 years and more recently for the University Hospital as a patient service representative until her illness forced her retirement. She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church in Boonville. She was an avid reader, enjoyed humming birds, loved crocheting, never met a stranger and mostly, she worshiped and was worshiped by her grandchildren.
Letitia is survived by her husband, James, of the home, her children, William Johnson and wife, Emily, of Gardner, Kan., Barbara Johnson of Boonville and Bethany Matthews and her husband, Charles, of Boonville. She will be missed very much by her grandchildren: Kenan, Treye, Kyla, Dalton Johnson, Waylon Hein, Grace and Lily Johnson and Lexxis and Raime Matthews.
Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Boonville or to the K C Hospice House 1200 Wornall Road, Kansas City, MO 64145.
