Mrs. Lorraine Elizabeth Lymer, 97 of Boonville, Missouri passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Ashley Manor Care Center in Boonville.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at William Wood Funeral Home, 517 Fourth Street, Boonville, Missouri. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Boonville, Missouri.
Lorraine was born on Sunday, January 26, 1919 in Council Bluff, Iowa. She was the daughter of Cecil C. & Lily (Bain) Tipton. She was united in marriage to Wilbur Lymer on Saturday, April 4, 1936 in Huntsville, Missouri and to this union two children were born. Lorraine, a homemaker, won blue ribbons for her flower arrangements and loved to quilt and collect dolls. She was a member of the New Franklin Garden Club and attended the Methodist Church of Boonville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Cecil and Charles Tipton and two sisters, Faye Johnmeyer and Bernadine McCaslin.
She is survived by her daughter and her husband, Judy and Dean Caldwell; a son and his wife, Larry and Elaine Lymer, all of Boonville; and a brother, Ernest Tipton of Alabama. Six grandchildren also survive, Keith Caldwell and his wife, Marcey; Kevin Caldwell and his wife, Monique; Kim Harris and her husband, Fred; Shari Gerke and her husband, Mike; Susan Long and her husband, Charles and Scot Lymer; six great-grandchildren, Austin Caldwell, Arliss Caldwell, Bryce Page, Brayden Page, Darren Gerke and Alyssa Gerke, and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Nelson United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home for their youth programs.
