Mary Grace Diel, 95, of rural Malta Bend, MO, died Sunday, December 30, 2012 at The Living Center in Marshall.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2013 at St. Peter Catholic Church with Fr. Tom Alber officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Friday at Campbell-Lewis Chapel with visitation following until 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Peter Catholic Church or Wellness Adult Day Health Care. Born August 22, 1917 in Pilot Grove, MO, she was the daughter of the late Charles Edward Roth and Mary Odelia Krumm Roth. On September 6, 1937 in Pilot Grove, she married Carl E. Diel who preceded her in death on November 14, 1992. She resided in the Malta Bend area since 1946 where she was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society.
Survivors include one daughter, Virginia Rose Graver of rural Malta Bend, formerly of Raytown, MO; five grandchildren: Steve Graver and wife Sarah, Joe Graver and wife Annette, Tim Graver, Adam Diel and wife Michelle, Amy Schmidt and husband Joe; seven great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Robert W. Diel; four brothers and three sisters.
