Mary Margaret Schnell Quint, 85 of Grandview, MO passed away June 21, 2014 at her home. Mary had been ill for the past several years. No funeral services will be held. Burial will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Boonville, MO at a later date.

Mary was born on May 14, 1929 in Boonville, MO to William C. and Velma F. Schmitt Schnell. She attended the public schools in Boonville and graduated from Laura Speed Elliott High School in May 1947. She was active in school functions and was National Vice President of Future Homemakers of America (FHA) during her Junior and Senior years of High School. She was also a member of the Nelson Memorial Methodist Church and was well liked by everyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents, W.C. and Velma F. Schmitt Schnell, a sister, Katheryn Frankum; two brothers, W. F. Schnell and Donald Ray Schnell, all of Boonville, MO. She is survived by her sister, Jean Schnell Haller, of Pilot Grove, MO; her husband of 64 ½ years, Robert E. Quint of Grandview, MO; her two children: Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Robert Paul Quint and his wife, Jo of Newberry, Florida; Deborah Kay Quint DeWeerd and her husband, David R. DeWeerd of Phoenix, AZ.; her two grandsons: Major Robert P. Quint, JR. and his wife, Jennifer, of Fort Bragg, NC and Michael P. Quint and his wife, Mindy, of McKinney, TX. She is also survived by four great grandchildren: Ashlynn Noel, Robert Paul III, Tessa Marie, and Annabelle Grace. Any donations should be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
