Mary Wesselman, 77, of Boonville, passed away, unexpectedly   at Cooper County  Hospital on Friday, June 28th, 2013.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Boonville at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 with Father Bob Duesdieker officiating. Burial will follow at St. Martin's Cemetery in Martinsville.  Visitation for Mary will be at Davis Funeral Chapel on Monday evening July 1, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 o'clock with the rosary to be recited at 5:30. Friends may call from noon until time of visitation.
Mary Wesselman was born in Melrose, Iowa, Sept 12, 1935, the daughter of Vincent Leo Luttrell and Anna Catherine Ryan Luttrell. Mary graduated from Pilot Grove High School in 1954. She married Martin Wesselman, June 25, 1955 and they are the parents of three children.  She was a homemaker, but had worked in food service with the Boonville School district for many years. Mary was a devout and active member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church; She was dedicated to her family and enjoyed being asked to take care of her grandchildren. She was an avid sports fan who missed very few sporting events, or any of the events that her children and grandchildren participated in.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents,  her brothers, Jack and Eddie Luttrell, and by her sisters, Margaret Ann McGinn and Irene 'Choppie'  Wessing. She is survived by her husband, Martin, of the home; her children, Tony Wesselman (Cindy) of Boonville, Kim Berry, of Columbia and Kathy Davis (Wes) of Boonville.  Her siblings, Leo Luttrell (Sue) of Quincy, IL, Ronnie (Virginia) of Montrose, CO,  Michael Luttrell of Springfield, MO and Kathy Waller of Boonville, also survive.  There will be an empty place in the hearts of her grandchildren, Megan  (Philip) Dercher of Columbia, Jennifer Wesselman of Boonville, Tyler Wesselman (Madison) of Pleasant Valley, Morgan, and Jeremy Davis of Columbia and Anna Davis of Boonville and her great grandchildren, Hudson and Kaya Dercher and Brooklynn and Brennan Alberts. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In lieu of flowers the  family respectfully request that memorials be directed to SS Peter and Paul School Foundation, SS Peter and Paul Church or St. Martin's Cemetery Association. Friends may register at:
