Maxine Schulten Amick, 81, of Boonville, Mo. passed away Friday, Feb. 4, at Boone Hospital Center.
Visitation will be held Monday, Feb. 7, at the William Wood Funeral Home from 6 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, Feb. 8, at Immanuel Lutheran Church at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor John Roach officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Maxine Amick was born March 9, 1929 in Jackson, Monroe County, Mo., daughter of William and Thea Blakey. She married William "Bill" Schulten, who preceded her in death, and later married Mel Amick, who also preceded her in death. Maxine was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Norma and Irma, and two brothers, Leverne and Dale.
She is survived by her son, Cordell Schulten and wife Sandy of Fenton, Mo.; her daughter, Debbie Polites of Huntsville, Al.; six grandchildren, Jackie Kimbro (Jeff), Gretchen Bell (Stephen), Caleb Schulten (Micaela), Thea Abraham (Juan), Hannah Schulten and Justin Schulten; nine great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
