Mildred 'Midge' Miller, 82, of Boonville, passed away at Cooper County Hospital on Sunday, July 2, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Boonville at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 5th, 2012 with Pastor John Roach officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 A.M. until time of service. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Mildred Miller was born in Lone Elm, MO, June 19th, 1930, the daughter of Martin Frieling and Iva Bail Frieling. She graduated from Boonville High School in 1948. Midge married Bob Miller Sept 21, 1950 and they lived in Boonville since that time. She was a supervisor at Bimet Manufacturing for many years until her retirement when the company ceased operation. Midge enjoyed cooking, collecting cook books and sharing recipes with others. She enjoyed eating out and visiting with friends and family. She was very close to her nieces and nephews.
Midge was preceded in death by her parents and by her sister, LuEtta Brown in January of this year. She is survived by her husband Bob, of the home; her sisters, Viola Dodson of New Franklin and Ruby Rieves of Boonville and her brother Charles Frieling of Jamestown.
Memorials are suggested to the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Boonville.
Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Funeral Chapel
