Monte Leroy Strodtman, 57, of Lamine, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday morning, Aug. 6, at his home.
Memorial services for Monte will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10 at Friendship Four Square Church in New Franklin with Rev. Wayne Purvis officiating. 
Monte Leroy Strodtman was born in Howard County, June 7, 1954, the son of Francis Leroy Strodtman and Frances E. Hendrix.  Monte graduated from New Franklin High School and Linn Technical College. He had worked as a mechanic for Stan's MFA in Boonville for twenty one years. He was very interested in gun collecting and black powder sport shooting.  Monte had made many friends at his work and will be missed by all those that knew him.
Monte is survived by his parents, Francis and Frances Strodtman of New Franklin; his three sons, John David Strodtman and wife Brandi, of Marshall, Mo., Dalton Thomas and Aaron Robert Strodtman, of the home and his wife Ruby, of Boonville and by a brother, Jeffrey Strodtman of New Franklin, and sisters, Dana Jenks of New Franklin, Susan Eaton of Pilot Grove, Eileen Stapp of Washington, Mo., Stacy Strodtman of Clinton, Mo., as well as one grandchild, Elijah Norman Strodtman.
Memorials are suggested to the family for expenses. Arrangements under the direction of Davis Funeral Chapel.
