Myrtle Lou Hurt, 71 of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Boonville, died Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo. At her request, private services will be held with Fr. Rob Fields officiating. Burial will be held in the SS Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery in Boonville.

Myrtle Lou was born September 26, 1938 in Boonville, the daughter of Wilbur Thomas and Ottilia Vogel Hurt.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; one brother, John Francis Hurt and one great nephew Nathan Larm.
Survivors include: two sisters, Jo Ann Hurt and Clara Mae Hurt Imhoff, with her husband James; two brothers Robert and Thomas Hurt all of Boonville; several nieces and nephews, Rick Imhoff, with his wife Angela, of Decatur, IL, Cindy Imhoff Larm, with her husband Tom, Tim and Jim Imhoff all of Boonville and Mindy Imhoff of Columbia; Great nieces and nephews, Anna Imhoff, Danielle Imhoff Mahan, with her husband Simon, Tommy Larm, with his wife Megan, and Tiffany Larm.
