Nana Jean Watts, 84, of New Franklin, passed away March 30 at Hartmann Village in Boonville.

Nana Jean White was born April 14, 1926, a daughter of Otto E. and Nana Hart White. She married Winfred Watts March 6, 1948 in Boonville and he preceded her in death October 27, 2002. Nana was a homemaker and assisted for many years with the family business Watts Skelgas of New Franklin. She was a member of the New Franklin First Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking and sewing.
Survivors include her daughters, Tracey Herigon and Sandy Watts of Columbia; a brother, Bob White of Burlingame, California; four grandchildren, Sarah Barks of Atlanta, Georgia, Daniel Barks of St. Louis, and Brooke and Kate Herigon of Columbia. Also surviving are nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bud White and Otto E. White, Jr., and a sister, Frances Jaeger.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 2, at the New Franklin First Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Wilkerson officiating. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Markland-Yager Funeral Home in New Franklin.
Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in New Franklin.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the New Franklin First Baptist Church or the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Association.
