Nancy Ellen Farris joined her husband, Larry Edwin Farris and infant son, John Timothy Farris in eternal rest on Sunday, November 29, 2015.
Nancy was surrounded by family at Cooper County Memorial Hospital at the time of her passing.
Nancy Ellen Farris was born June 12, 1939 in Acme, West Virginia to James Hildra Edens and Breda May Green.
Relocating to Missouri, Nancy met and later married Larry Edwin Farris on October 19, 1962, to whom she remained married for over 40 years, until Larry's death in June of 2003.
Nancy was preceded in death by her father, James Hildra Edens, mother, Breda May Green, husband, Larry Edwin Farris, and son, John Timothy Farris.
She leaves behind one sister, Marcella May (Pat) Williamson, husband Robert of Sugarloaf, Calif.; twin sons, Daniel Shaye Groves, wife Donna of Boonville; Michael Jaye Groves of New Franklin; daughter, Lorri Ann Farris Lieberman, husband Mark of Boonville; four grandchildren, Tyler Ryan Lieberman of Columbia, Matthew Shannon Groves, wife Ellen of St. Charles; Melissa Lynn Estill, husband Dylan of New Franklin; Michael Blake Groves of Boston, Mass.; and Sarah Elizabeth Groves of St. Louis, four great-grandchildren, Carson, Cannon, Finley, and Wesleigh Groves of St. Charles.
Nancy loved spending time with her family, cooking, fishing, music, dancing, flowers and football. She never met a stranger and loved everyone. She will be deeply missed by many.
A celebration of life will be held on December 12, 2015. A private service for family will be held at 3:30 p.m. and 4-6pm for friends at the Nelson Memorial United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family or the church in honor of Nancy.
