Nancy K. Weyland, 77, of Franklin, passed away at her home, surrounded by her entire family, on Tuesday, March 17, 2015.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 20, 2015 with Father Bob Duesdieker officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Nancy Katherine Weyland was born August 13, 1937 in Boonville, MO, the daughter of Kenneth Esser and Bernice Chamberlin Esser. She graduated from SS. Peter and Paul High School in 1955 and on June 21,1958 she married Jim Weyland. Together they owned and operated Weyland Furniture for over forty years. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She became computer savvy and kept up with the technology and made the most of that medium, which she enjoyed very much as well as being an avid reader. She looked forward to 9:00 o'clock in the evening at which time she would visit with her son, 'Russ" every day. Her grandchildren, Sam and Abby were the light of her life.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Jim, of the home her son James 'Russ' Weyland and his wife, Shelia, of New Bloomfield and her grandchildren, Sam and Abby Weyland. Her sisters, Joyce (Tom) Adair of Wooldridge, Linda (Terry) Box of Manchester, MO and Diane (Steve) Mesa of Kansas City also survive, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to SS Peter and Paul Church.
