Oliveward Hunzicker, 89 of Boonville passed away Tuesday morning December 13th at Katy Manor Nursing Home in Pilot Grove.

Visitation for Oliveward will be 9 to 10AM on Thursday, December 15 at Davis Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10AM following the visitation. Burial will be in Lawrence Memorial Park Cemetery in Lawrence, KS.
Oliveward Hunzicker was born March 15, 1922 in Roscoe, MO, the daughter of William Rufus Ford and Nancy Josephine Pierce Ford. She married Albert Hunzicker in Glendale, Arizona on May 7, 1942. Oliveward was an avid sports fan playing softball in her youth and later joining the Wakarusa Bow Club where she was an outstanding archer. One of her many passions were genealogical research which her family will treasure forever. She was a member of The International Rose O'Neill Club Foundation and attended numerous Kewpiesta celebrations in Branson, MO. Her love of dolls produced an extensive collection which she unselfishly shared with others. Her skilled handiwork created beautiful keepsakes for family and friends until her eyesight failed. Above all, her Christian faith and love for her family were most important to her.
Oliveward is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Albert in 2004, son, Clare Lynn Hunzicker, brother, Charles William Lloyd Ford and sister, Gladys Marie Pippert. She is survived by her daughter, Donna McCue of Boonville, MO and son, Marcus Hunzicker of San Francisco, CA. Also surviving are her grandchildren; Lori Humphrey and husband Jamie of Wooldridge, MO., Lynelle David and husband Jack of Moberly, MO., Marcus Hunzicker,II of San Francisco, CA., and Jackie McCue, Jr. and wife Lisa of Paxico, KS. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
