Patricia Ellen Trout Johnson was born Sept. 22, 1923 in Carrollton, Mo. the daughter of Benjamin Trout and Lena Perreten Trout. She married Rolla Alley "RA" Johnson on May 24, 1946 in Boonville, Missouri. Patty was the ultimate volunteer. Her life was centered around her church, Nelson Memorial Methodist. Through her church she mentored students at David Barton Middle School in the Kids Hope program; enjoyed being a Prison Fellowship Volunteer and was DOC qualified; a lifelong member of the United Methodist Women; traveled to Costa Rica on a missionary trip and was a much loved "Miss Patty" in Sunday School, Bible School and the church nursery. Patty was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star and a Past Matron of Boonville Chapter 419. She was a Long-term Care Ombudsman and a member of the Board of Directors for Boonslick Industries. Patty and her late husband, R.A. loved square dancing, Shrine activities, spending weekends at the Lake of the Ozarks with R.A.'s brother, Bob and his wife Shirle and they so valued their many friends and times spent with them. Throughout her long life she played in many bridge clubs, was an avid reader and volunteered at the Boonslick Regional Library. We shall always be comforted by her wonderful smile and unconditional love she shared with her family.
