Rita Ann (Reisdorff) Andrews passed away peacefully at Hospice House, The Jessie Harper Residence in Omaha, NE. She was 90 years old.

Born in Omaha, NE, the youngest of 13, Rita attended Holy Ghost Catholic School in South Omaha and St. John's High School, formerly located on the Creighton University Campus.
Rita married John W. Andrews in 1943, and moved from Omaha to Fayette, MO, living also in Boonville and New Franklin. She worked much of her life as a secretary at McGraw-Edison, the Chicken Hatchery, Missouri Training School for Boys, and Missouri Port Authority, all in Boonville, MO.
Rita's family and faith were most important to her. She lovingly saved photos, notes, letters, drawings and e-mails in numerous albums, sharing these with children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She faithfully prayed her rosary daily and attended Mass on Sundays. Rita loved music and could play any song she heard by ear on the piano. She had a lovely voice and was always singing as she worked.
Rita was preceded in death by her husband, John, her son, Jack, and her parents, brothers, and sisters. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Joe Wakin, Omaha, NE; daughter-in-law, Kathryn Andrews (Jack) of New Franklin, MO; grandchildren, Steve and Angie Andrews and children, Adam, Collin and Mason, Olathe, KS; Amy and Damian Bilbao and children, Lucas, Olivia and Sam, Anchorage, Alaska; Jennifer and Lee Hanna and children, Lily and Maggie, Omaha, NE; sister-in-law, Joan Andrews (Gene), Boonville, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation and rosary, Friday, October 10, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Davis Funeral Home in Boonville, MO. Mass of Christian Burial at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Boonville, Saturday October 11, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.
