Robenette (Robin) Marie Quint, 55, passed away at her home near Prairie Home, MO, on June 20, 2010.

A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held at Turner Hall, in Boonville, MO, on Wednesday, June 30, at 1 PM.
Robin was born September 23, 1954, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of Maurine Atherton and Jerome Gau. She attended Washburn High School in Minnesota, and went on to become an RN in 1976. She worked at Cambridge Hospital in Minnesota until 1992, eventually moving to Missouri in 2001 and working at Boone County Hospital. She married John Quint in 1994, and was previously married to Curtis Simon of Minnesota.
Robin was a loving and gentle soul, who loved fiber arts, babies, and gardening. She was an active member of the Missouri Weavers and Spinner's Guild, and well known in the community for her beautiful work with indigo. She was always there when someone needed help or needed someone to talk with.
Robin is survived by John Quint, her husband of 16 years; her sons Tony Simon of New Mexico, Ben Simon of Columbia, Ted Simon of Minnesota, and stepson Ben Quint of Columbia; her mother, Maurine Atherton, and stepfather Robert Atherton of Minnesota; her father Jerome Gau of Minnesota; brother Kevin Gau and wife Debbie of Minnesota, sister Jean Holland of Minnesota, brother David Atherton of Wisconsin, sister Annette Sloneker of Minnesota, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and three dogs.
