Robert Charles Draffen, 58, of Bunceton passed away Saturday morning June 4 at his home.
Visitation for Robert will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 8 at Davis Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 9 at Davis Funeral Chapel with Pastor Paul Weisenborn officiating. Burial will follow in the Tipton Masonic Cemetery in Tipton, Mo.
Robert Charles Draffen was born February 1, 1958 in Kansas City, Mo. The son of Ray Freeman Draffen and Bessie Lorene Reams Draffen. Robert graduated Bunceton High School in 1976, where he was president of his class his senior year and then went to trade school where he graduated with an Associate Degree. He loved guns and anything to do with them, he was a member of the NRA. You could find him target practicing and reloading shells anytime you visited. Robert had a reputation in the Bunceton area for being a jack-of-all-trades as he loved to tinker with everybody's vehicles, farm machinery and appliances.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and brother, George Draffen. He is survived by his sisters; Linda DeGraaf and husband Leland of Omaha, Neb., Nancy Lemming and husband Walt of Atlanta, Ga., and Rebecca Schroeder of Boonville. He will be greatly missed by numerous nieces and nephews.
