Robert D. Bledsoe, 72, of Boonville, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015 surrounded by his loving family.

A celebration of Robert's life will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015 with the Masonic service.
Robert Dale Bledsoe was born in Boonville, Mo. April 20, 1943, the son of Herbert Lloyd Bledsoe and Orpha Beatrice Piatt Bledsoe. He graduated from Boonville High School in 1961. He went to work in Kansas City with Hallmark Cards for 38 years until his retirement. He married Eunice Clark in 1970, and she preceded him in death in 2011 and they are the parents of two children; Phillip and Karen. Robert was a dedicated volunteer for the Salvation Army while in Kansas City for many years. After retirement he moved back to Boonville and married Joyce Miller. Robert was an active member of Mason Lodge 36 in Boonville, a member of Sante Fe Trail Baptist Church. His love for all his family was unconditional.
Robert was preceded in death by his first wife, Eunice, his siblings, Ron, Lloyd and Gloria. He is survived by his wife Joyce, of the home, son, Phillip (Kimberly) Bledsoe Olathe, Kans., and daughter, Karen Bledsoe, of Aurora, Mo. and Diana Baum, Wayne Martin, Stephen Miller and Melanie Wassman as well as grandchildren; Joshua and Jason Stanley, Gavin and Faelynne Tilson, and eight grandchildren by his second marriage, as well as many nieces and nephews.
