Robert Joseph "Batch" Arnold, 75, of Bunceton, passed away Monday, October 21, 2013 at his home surrounded by many family members.
Mr. Arnold was born on May 19, 1938, in Cooper County , MO to Benjamin and Leona Wyatt Arnold. He married Melva Davis in Pilot Grove on July 29, 1962, who survives of the home. He graduated from Pilot Grove High School on May 18, 1956, and worked for the Hoff Farm for 57 years, retiring June 1, 2013. He loved to play cards, ride his boat, and spend time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-one years; three brothers-Harvey Arnold and wife Gen of Kankakee, IL; Jerry Arnold and wife Carolyn of Mt. Victory, OH; Donnie Arnold and wife Sharron of New Albany, OH; one sister-Judy Parkhurst of Boonville; five children-Lynn Arnold Greer and husband Johnny of Weirsdale, FL; Kerry Arnold of Tipton; Shelley Meyer and husband Rick of Tipton; Terry Arnold and adopted son Bart Perrin of Columbia; and Sharon Arnold of Chesapeake, OH; four grandchildren-Jamie Jordan of California; Robert Sanders and wife Stephanie of Sedalia; Amber Pack and husband Steven of Tipton; Matthew Dean of Weirsdale, FL; one great-grandson-Issac Sanders of Sedalia; several nieces, nephews, step grand and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters-Lorene Arnold and Joyce Henderson; great granddaughter-Madalynn Pack and infant boy-Robert William Arnold and three brother-in-laws.
Funeral services will be at 2: 00 PM, Thursday, October 24, 2013 at the Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Tipton, with burial in the Pisgah Baptist Cemetery near Bunceton.
Visitation will be from noon until time of the service on Thursday.
Memorials are suggested to the Kidney Foundation.
