Vincent O. "Punkin" Gramlich, 83, of Kansas City, MO died suddenly Sunday, March 10, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Guardian Angels Church. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Olathe, KS. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday at the McGilley Midtown Chapel, where the rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will also be at the church Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions to Mid America Heart Institute at St. Luke's Hospital on the Plaza or Cornerbrook Nursing Home, 12942 Wornall Rd., Kansas City, MO 64145

Punkin was born December 26, 1929 in Pilot Grove, Missouri to Ollie and Stella (Weimhold) Gramlich. He was affiliated with the Ford Motor Company for 64 years, 51 years were with Midway Ford Truck Center. He was a well-loved and long-time parishioner at Guardian Angels Church. In addition to his parents, Punkin was preceded in death by one son, Dennis in 2008, one brother and 3 sisters. Punkin is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mildred 'Merty' Gramlich of the home; son Kelly Gramlich and his wife Kristy of Liberty, MO; two daughters, Nancy Gramlich and Karen Gramlich, both of Kansas City, MO; Dennis' companion, Nancy Novacek of Olathe, KS; three grandchildren, Kristopher, Kyle, and Lauren Gramlich.
