Virginia Lee "DeeDee" Kuhn, 73, of Jamestown, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at Moniteau Care Center. She was born on November 14, 1939, in rural Boonville, MO, the daughter of Walter Leland and Helen Virginia (McDaniel) Dungan, both of whom preceded her in death. She graduated from Prairie Home High School in 1957 and was married to C. Dale Kuhn at the home of her parents on October 13, 1957. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Church, Jamestown, and enjoyed serving as a Sunday Schoolteacher for many years. For the greater part of her life, she was an office manager, owner and book-keeper at area agri-service businesses. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 55 years; her daughter, Liane Lynn Kuhn; two granddaughters, Stacy Pierson and Kelsey Parrott, all of Jamestown; two sisters, Linda (Larry) Imhoff, Jamestown, and Betty McKenzie, Overland Park, KS; a sister-in-law, Judy (Denny) Wittenberger, Jamestown; and six nieces and nephews and their families. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 28, at 10:00 a.m. at the Bowlin-CantrielFuneral Home, California. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Jamestown. Officiating will be Pastor Brian Bishand Rev. Chester Marshall. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 27, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California.
