A celebration of Trudy's life will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel in Boonville from 5:00 until 7:30 on Friday, August14, with a memorial service at 7:30.
Waltraud Elfriede Fisher was born in Rheinsburg, Germany, Oct. 2, 1936. She came to the states in 1960. She was employed at 3-M company in Columbia for twenty four years, until her retirement. Trudy met Marty Stover in 1974 and they became best friends and partners in life. She enjoyed traveling the country and returning to her homeland. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially bird watching and flower gardening. Her hobbies consisted of anything to do with sewing or knitting. She loved animals, especially her dog, Rusty.
Trudy is survived by her best friend, Marty Stover, of the home, her daughter, Manuela (Randel) Hilger of Lake St. Louis, by a half sister, Elfriede Johanna (Manfred) Trost of Germany and her grandchildren, Kyle Hilger, of Hannibal. MO and Skyler Hilger of Lake St. Louis and Marty's son, James Patrick (Lisa) Stover and their children, Wesley Stover and Annie Stover, all of Sedalia, MO.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request memorials be directed to the Grottoes of North America Humanitarian Fund, or the that of the donor's choice.
