Wanda L. Campbell, 88, of Boonville, died unexpectedly, at Katy Manor Care Center in Pilot Grove on Friday, Feb. 19, 2016.

Visitation for Wanda will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2016 with services following at 11 a.m. with Rev. Roger McMurry officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Wanda Lee Campbell was born in Appalachia, Va., April 19, 1927, the daughter of Robert Lee Stewart and Vonda Stanley Stewart. The family moved to the area in 1930. Wanda graduated from Boonville High School and then from cosmetology school in Columbia. She practiced her trade in Boonville for 68 years until her retirement. Wanda married William Anders Campbell at Boonville's UCC church, April 9, 1950 and he preceded her in death in 1977. She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Boonville. Besides her work her passion was horses; she was a member of the Boonville Boot and Saddle Club until the end and was secretary for 35 years.
Besides her husband, Bill, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Johnny, in infancy; Carl and Clyde Stewart; as well as her best friend, Jake Meyer. She is survived by her children, Don (Jill) Campbell and Mary Campbell and her sister, Betty Shemwell, all of Boonville. Grandchildren Caleb Campbell, with the U. S. Air Force, Austin Campbell of Columbia and Dylan Campbell, of Nashville, Tenn., and two great-grandchildren Jackson and Sawyer Campbell of Columbia.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request that memorials be directed to the Boonville Boot and Saddle Club.
