Wilbur K. Zaugg, 86, of Ottawa, Kansas, formerly of Boonville, passed away at Richmond Medical Care Center in Richmond , Kansas June 7, 2012 .

Memorial services will be held at St. John's United Church of Christ in Billingsville at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, June 11th with Pastor Christine Isham-Walsh officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery.
Wilbur Kenneth Zaugg was born in Jamestown, MO , Feb. 4, 1926 , the son of John Zaugg and Alma Sperber Zaugg. Wilbur served his country during WW II with the U.S. Army. He married Leona Marie Thompson March 19th, 1949 in Jamestown and they were blessed with three children; Kenneth Zaugg and his wife, Sue of Ibera, MO, Danny Zaugg and his wife, Claudine, of Warsaw Mo and his daughter Juanita Brecht and her husband, Kenneth of Ottawa, KS. He was a farmer most of his life in the Boonville area.
He is survived by his wife, Marie, of the home, his children, as well as eight grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be directed to St. John's UCC in care of Davis Funeral Home.
