Wilbur "Bill" Lynn Waller, of New Franklin, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, August 8, 2013 with his family beside him. He was 77 years old.
Wilbur was born June 13, 1936 in Pilot Grove, Missouri to Albert Franklin and Norma Lilian Irvin Waller. He married Mary Wyatt on November 25, 1954 in Fayette and she survives at the family home.
He was a retired heavy equipment operator and farmer.
In addition to his wife survivors include four daughters, Mary Gipson, Peggy (Bruce) Studley of New Franklin; Cindy (Jamie) Sanders; Debbie Jo (Ernie) Campbell all of Fayette; three brothers, Bud (Cindy) Waller of Ensenada, Mexico; Larry (Karen) Waller of West Chester, Iowa; Kenneth (Sue) Waller of Chaparral, Florida; three sisters, Betty Yohn of Baxter Springs, Kansas; Bonnie Wegman of Riverton, Wyoming and Jannie Waller of Lenexa, Kansas. He also leaves to cherish his memory eleven grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Tony; two grandchildren, Billy Jo and Toni and a great-grandson, Dylan.
Memorial services will be at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Markland-Yager Funeral Home in New Franklin with Rev. Harold Young officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service.
