Willimarie Dicus, 97,of Bunceton, passed away at Tipton Oak Manor Care Center, Friday evening, Oct. 7, 2016.

Funeral services for Willimarie will be held at the Bunceton Federated Church at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 12, with Pastor Scott Ehrlich officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, at the church. Burial will follow in the Bunceton Masonic Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Davis Funeral Chapel.
Willmarie Frances Dicus was born at her home in Cooper County, the daughter of William Wendleton and Kathryn Figgins Wendleton. She graduated from Boonville High School in 1935. She married George N. Dicus Oct. 9, 1940 in Higginsville, Mo. and they are the parents of three children. She was a devout member of the Bunceton Federated Church and very active in the Church Women's society. She enjoyed piecing quilts, her flower gardens and making new friends wherever she happened to be.
Willimarie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George and one brother, Roy Wendelton. She is survived by her sons: Gerald (Barbara) Dicus of Bunceton, Donald Dicus of Tipton, Mo. and William (Lana) Dicus of California, Mo. and by her grandchildren; Kendra Fischer, Kelly Dicus, Christa Burnett, Brett Dicus, Todd Dicus, Tyler Dicus, Travis Dicus and Tanner Dicus, as well as 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be directed to the Bunceton Federated Church.
