Wilma Lee Dungan, 76, of Boonville, passed away at Lakeview Care Center on Friday, July 1, surrounded by friends and family.

Visitation for Wilma will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel on Tuesday evening, July 5, from 4 until 6 o'clock. Friends may call from noon until time of the visitation. Funeral services will be at Davis Chapel on Wednesday, July 6, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Hal McNeal and Rev. Myron Couch officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery near Prairie Home.
Wilma Lee Dungan was born in Cooper County on Nov. 25, 1934, the daughter of Edison Warmbrodt and Marie Ritchie Warmbrodt. She married Robert Lee Dungan Sr. in May of 1954 and they are the parents of four children. Wilma was a devoted member of the Prairie Home Baptist Church who lived her faith through her children and especially her grandchildren by giving them good Christian values to follow. She was a hard working woman who, for twenty eight years, worked full time as a certified medical technician at Riverdell Care Center and Lakeview Care Center until her retirement.
Mrs. Dungan was preceded in death by her husband and by two sons, Bill Dungan in 2008 and Randy Dungan in 2010 and by a brother, Eddie Russell Warmbrodt.
She is survived by her sons; Robert Dungan Jr. and his wife, Betty and Ronnie Edward Dungan and wife, Dana, all of Boonville as well as sixteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. A brother, James Curtis Warmbrodt of Mexico, Mo., and sister, Rose Marie Hutchison of Elgin, Kan., also survive.
Memorials are suggested to the family in care of Davis Funeral Chapel.
