Wilma Pauline Langkop passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 18, at Lakeview Nursing Home in Boonville. She was 93.
Wilma was born on Sept. 27, 1917, in Centerville, Mo., to George Washington Patterson and Iowa Sadila Tripp Patterson. She married Virgil Gant in 1947 and after his death Nobert Earl Langkop in Tipton on June 14, 1996.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Tipton. She worked as a beauty operator in Otterville. She was a homemaker who loved to cook, sew and read and loved music and her kids and grandkids.
She is survived by her son Daniel Gant of Lees Summit; stepsons, Charles Gant of Otterville and Stanley Gant of Sedalia; daughter Molly Howe of Mineola; and 18 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter Peggy Thorne, her stepson Bill Gant, and first husband Virgil Gant.
Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church in Tipton at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 21. Rev. Jim Cline will officiate.
Burial will be at Tipton Masonic Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 21, at the church prior to the service.
