Ruth Lois Wolfe was born Dec. 10, 1924 at home in Overton, MO, the daughter of Charles Owen Windsor and Dora Cleveland Vaughn Windsor. Ruth married Lewis Wolfe in Boonville on June 30, 1941 and they are the parents of four children. Ruth was very well known locally and state wide due to her interest and accomplishments in music. Countless folks in the area have been touched by her music through listening to her play with many different groups in the area or by taking music lessons (any instrument) from her over the many many years. She was a firm believer that music is the universal language. She was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church and the American Legion Auxiliary #52.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lewis; by her siblings, George Marion Windsor, Waltermer Owen Windsor, Martha Anne Kehnel, Cecil Woodrow Windsor and Madge Blanch Finders and by her daughter, Lois Jean Price. She is survived by her children, Terry Lewis Wolfe and his wife Linda of Lake Ozark, MO, Charles Alan Wolfe and Katie of Hays, KS, and Karen Anne Speicher and husband, Martin of Fayetteville, NC. Her grandchildren: Robert Lewis Price, Dale Lewis Speicher, Martin Alan Speicher, Shanie Lynn Nelson, Kelly Elizabeth Speicher, Tara Kay Speicher and David Lewis Wolfe also survive as well as her great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Zachary, Manny, Benjamin, Joey, Charlie, Madison Anne, Hailey Anne, Allie, Drew, Taylor Marie and Myia Michelle.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be directed to the American Legion Auxiliary #52.
