Redstone, Michael David 56, of Boulder, CO, previously of Boston, MA, passed away on May 8, 2014. Our beloved friend, father and husband was laid to rest on May 13th in Boulder, CO. Michael is preceded in death by his adoring grand parents Michael and Belle Redstone, sister Ruthann and her son Adam. He is survived by his three children Jesse, Alex and Emily; wife, Joy and her two children Laurel and Galen; and first wife Shelley. Please join us in celebrating Michael's life on Sunday, June 22nd, 2014 at Noon at Willowbend Country Club, 100 Mashpee Drive, Mashpee, MA. Donations in Michael's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.

Michael was open, kind and honest. I saw this in him even though I spoke with him only once. Since then I have met many of his family members and friends. As I discovered he made a huge impact on each person and on many others.
Now his struggle with pain is over. Now he can exists in spirit free of his burden.

I only knew Michael from my close friendship with his son Jesse. Still, every time I came accross him, he portrayed his big heart and kindness, and welcomed me into his home like one of his own. I'm thinking of Jesse, Emily, Alex, and Shelley during this tough time.

Hi Dad,

I just wanted to tell you how much I love you. I was sad to speak to you today at the funeral home, but I know you heard me and were happy to hear my voice telling you all the good times we had and how much you mean to me. I love you and will honor you for the rest of my life by doing the best I can. You said you kept all the cards I had written you for birthday and Father's Day and I saw those today. Those were some good memories. Tomorrow will be the toughest day of my life, but I know you will help me through it. I look forward to seeing you later in my life.
