It's hard to believe eight years has passed since you lost your Dad. I'm sure you miss him every day. I will never forget the kindness of your Mom and Dad when I was a child - your home was like a second home to me and I believe they contributed greatly to my security as a child and as an adult. You and your extended family are in my thoughts, especially during this crazy year.
Love,

On behalf of my Aunt Jane, for whom Ed and Helen will always have a special place in her heart, and all of of our family, we deeply regret your loss. Your father was a wonderful family man, devoted husband, a credit to the bar, and a great patriot. He certainly left this world better than he found it.

Dear Santarpio Family -
I was very saddened to hear of your Dad's passing. He and his family and ours were 'friends forever!!' His mother and ours used to attend the Mission Church each week for Fr. Manton's weekly novena. Ed and my brother, Bob were classmates and friends from junior high through college (Harvard). For many years he and Bob met for lunch and friendship, In memory, I recall Ed used to drop by our then family home on Terrace Road often just for a friendly visit. In summer we would sit on our front porch and talk about everything from school, friends, football and politics. He was a very learned gentleman, and yes, Ed was a true gentleman and long-time friend. I told Fr. Larry that just last week he was on my reminiscing mind!! He was probably sending me a little message for prayers. Now he is with his loving brothers and parents for a great time together again in their Heavenly home. May Eddie rest in peace with his Lord and Savior.
With love and prayers - Ann (Drennan) Forsyth - Germantown, TN 38138

My condolences to the Santarpio family. I tried a number of cases against Ed at the East Boston District Court in the early 80s. He was a fine lawyer and a gentleman. God Bless you at this difficult time.
