SABLONE, Luigi J. Of Malden Sept. 26, 2016. Beloved husband of Nancy Cagno (Gennetti) Sablone, her children Paula Maddaleni, John, Michael, Anthony, & David Cagno. Loving brother of Dominic Sablone of Randolph & his late wife Mary, Mary Moore of IL & her late husband Andrew, Joseph P. Sablone & his wife Dolores of Revere, & the late Carl, Frank, Anthony, & Rose Sablone. He is also survived by nieces & nephews. A service will be held at the A.J.Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main St., MALDEN on Thursday Sept. 29th at 12:30 p.m. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. prior to the service. SCAFIDI, Leonard J. Of Hallandale, FL, formerly of Waltham, September 25, 2016. Father of Mark Scafidi of Ayer, Leonard Scafidi and his wife, Rose of North Carolina, David Scafidi and Christopher Scafidi, both of Florida. Grandfather of Heather, Bobby and Gabriella. Brother of Anthony Scafidi of Northborough, Jeannette Scafidi and Bernard Scafidi, both of Waltham, and the late Salvatore, James, Carl, Ernest, Alfred, Richard, Robert, Raymond, Philip, Marie, and Baby Alfred Scafidi, Dominica Marmonti, Concetta Ferro, and Josephine Collura. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will honor and remember Leonard's life by gathering for calling hours on Thursday, September 29th, from 4 to 8 pm in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street, (Rte. 20), WALTHAM and again on Friday at 9 am before leaving in procession to Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham, where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am. SCHNITZER, Herbert Seymour Age 92 of Concord, formerly of Yarmouth and Longmeadow, September 23, 2016. Beloved husband of 68 years to Bibe Weingold Schnitzer. Father of Jay of Boston, Michael of Concord, Marjorie of Hingham, Paula Anzer of Concord, and Debora of Cambridge. Brother of Henry Schnitzer of Colorado. Also survived by daughters-in-law Sara Roy and Sally Schnitzer and sons-in-law Thomas Anzer and Robert Slate. He is survived by 10 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, as well as nieces and nephews. A WWII veteran of the US Army, Herbert was a chemical engineer specializing in polymer plastics and injection molding. He is the holder of numerous patents. He had a long history of public service, including 15 years as selectman in the town of Yarmouth, MA. Family graveside service will be private. A man of many talents, Bruce single-handedly renovated a house, was a hospital administrator, owned the Photo Video Store in Wayland, was an amazing photographer and an avid poker player. First and foremost, he was a world class father. He leaves his wife Carol (Malchman) Schraft; his children Dara Schraft & Kevin Lowe, Adam Schraft & Elisa Litsky, and Micah Schraft; grandchildren Grace and Adam Lowe; and sister and brother-in-law Arleen & Steve Chafitz. Service at Levine Chapel, 470 Harvard St., BROOKLINE Friday, Sept. 30 at 11:30 am. Burial in Stepiner Cemetery, 776 Baker St., W. Roxbury. Memorial observance following the burial through 7 pm at the home of Carol Schraft. SEE, ELIZABETH "BAILEY" - Beverly  
SEE , Elizabeth "Bailey" Age 54, died peacefully at her home in Beverly Farms, MA, surrounded by her loving family. The cause of death was complications following Goodpastures Syndrome which she had courageously battled for two years. Born in Greenwich, CT, she was the daughter of Mrs. Samuel Thorne and stepdaughter of Samuel (Spike) Thorne of Bedford, MA and the daughter of the late Alva B See, Jr, of Atlanta, Georgia and stepdaughter of Nancy Quarles. Bailey graduated from the New Canaan (CT) Country School and the Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., earned a Bachelor's Degree from the Mass College of Art and her Master's Degree in Education from Lesley College. She was a tennis professional and a member of the tennis coaching organizations USPTA and PTR. She received the Al Rogers Award for Education in 2015. For the past seven years she ran the summer tennis program for the Town of Rockport. She taught at the Indoor Court in Hamilton and taught privately. A resident of Beverly Farms for the past twenty years, she will be remembered by her many friends for her joyful spirit, her generous nature and her deep love of and loyalty to her family and friends. She was strong till the end. The world needs more bright stars like Bailey. In addition to her mother and step-father, she is survived by four brothers, Alva B. See III and his wife, Alison of New Orleans, LA, Richard Evans See of San Francisco, CA, Samuel Thorne Jr. of Minnesota and Guyton Thorne and his wife, Pamela of Manchester by the Sea, her nieces and nephews, Trischa Thorne and her husband, Ryan Davis of Missouri, Sam Thorne III of Wisconsin, Phoebe Thorne of Colorado, Hannah Thorne of Manchester by the Sea, Bennett See and Nicholas See both of New Orleans, Louisiana. She was also the sister of the late Susan Tierney Thorne. Her marriage to Robert F. Perkins ended in divorce. Shalline and her husband Jere Urban of Monkton, VT. Jean leaves four grand children; Jason, Chris and his wife Mara, Anna, and Cameron, and two great granddaughters Aurelia and Juniper. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 62 years, Paul V. Shalline.
